Surgery: ABDOMINOPLASTY, RECTUS PLICATION, FLANK LIPOSUCTION
Patient was evaluated for cosmetic improvement in the appearance of her abdomen and flanks. Patient is mother who underwent gastric Roux-en-Y bypass and lost 70 pounds. She developed rectus diastasis, separation of six pack muscles, and is now finished having children. Her weight has been stable for 12 months. Her husband supports her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery of the abdomen and flanks. She would like her abdomen to be flat and her torso to be more hourglass-like. She would like to undergo tummy tuck and liposuction at the same time to minimize downtime.
